Mark Franklin P.Tech (Eng), Manager of Reality Capture Technologies at CDM Smith, brings over 25 years of experience in engineering and technology integration. Initially trained as a mechanical piping designer, he now leads reality capture initiatives in CDM Smith’s Digital Engineering Solutions group. Mark specializes in using 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry to create visual, spatial, and constructability digital twins, enhancing engineering solutions for wastewater treatment plants and water infrastructure. His expertise drives innovative retrofits, condition assessments, and analytics, improving project outcomes.
