We are the voice of the professional surveying community in the US and its territories. Through its affiliation agreements with the respective state surveying societies, the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) has a strong constituency base through which it communicates directly with lawmakers, agencies, & regulators at both the national and state levels. NSPS monitors and comments on legislation, regulation, & policies that have potential impact on the activities of its members and their clients, and collaborates with a multitude of other organizations within the geospatial community on issues of mutual interest.
The future of surveying remains at the forefront of the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) list of advocacies. We recognize the challenges faced not just by professional surveyors but by technical staff tasked with utilizing emerging instruments and software. The future of surveying is also very bright, and NSPS is proud to be a Geo Week Industry Partner as we continue to lead the way in creating a positive career path for our future geospatial professionals.
