Zoe De Buhr is a graduate student in the School of Computing at the University of Wyoming. Her work focuses on the use of remote sensing for mapping and monitoring natural disasters, with particular interests in Synthetic Aperture Radar. She is especially interested in using radar to detect disasters, such as landslides, before they occur.
This project focuses on using remote sensing along with other monitoring techniques to examine historical and current subsidence and groundwater depletion in California’s Central Valley.
