Utkarsha Khambalkar is a water resources professional with experience in hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling and in the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for water infrastructure analysis. Her work focuses on integrating H&H modelling and GIS-based platform to support emergency planning and critical infrastructure protection. Her contribution to the project includes assessment of dam failure risks, mapping inundation zones, and evaluating effectiveness of various structural and non-structural mitigation measures.
