Tristan Harper, a surveyor-in-training, joined Prairie Engineers in 2023. Tristan began his career practicing land use and construction defect litigation, eventually moving to a national forensic engineering firm and then running his own hydrographic surveying and mapping company. Tristan has significant experience in lidar scanning, hydrographic mapping with single beam, multibeam, and sidescan sonar, data processing, and geographic information systems in addition to the practice of law.
Tristan graduated from the University of South Florida Honors College with a BS in Environmental Science, the University of Florida with an Environmental and Land Use Law focused JD, and from the University of West Florida with an MBA. Tristan has served as a board member of Pensacola Young Professionals, Pensacola Opera, Escambia Santa Rosa Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and was named a Super Lawyer’s 2014 Florida Rising Star and a 2012 Pensacola Independent News Rising Star.
