Oscar Duran is a Geomatics Engineer and Certified Photogrammetrist with over a decade of expertise in lidar and photogrammetric production. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geomatics from California State University, Fresno. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Geomatics at Purdue University. Additionally, he is a Project Management Professional, a Canadian Professional Engineer, and a California Licensed Surveyor-in-Training. Oscar has worked with multiple federal, state, and local municipal agencies in Canada and the United States, and he joined Towill, Inc. in 2019.
An active member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS), Oscar serves as Vice President of the Pacific Southwest Region and Deputy Chair of the Region Officers Council.
