Leo Zhang

Leo (Lingfeng) Zhang is a Virtual Construction Manager at The Conco Companies, Concord, CA, USA. He is the chair of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) subcommittee 117-0L-Laser Scanning and a member of multiple ACI committees. Zhang received his BS in material physics from Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, China, and his MS in construction management from the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA.
 
Zhang has been involved in multiple laser scan studies funded by the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) and ACI, and he was involved in the first and second USIBD “Scanner Shootout” at GeoWeek in 2023 and 2024. His focus is on reality capture and other technologies for construction surveying, tolerance verification, as well as project management and planning/scheduling.
