He is the CEO and founder of Conworth, Inc., a leading provider of 3D solutions for the AEC, EPC, and Digital Twin industries. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1997 and 2001, respectively. From 2000 to 2005, he served as CTO of Forest One Inc., a Chicago-based geospatial information startup, where he led technology development and provided technical services to Fortune 500 companies. In 2005, he joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Yonsei University as a faculty member. His research focuses on spatial data science and mapping technologies. He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed journal articles and more than 200 conference papers.
