Eden Wasehun received the B.S. degree in urban and regional planning from Ethiopian Institute of Architecture, Building Construction and City Development, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia, in 2017, and the M.S. degree in geoinformation science and earth observation from ITC Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation, University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands, in 2021. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in applied science technology at North Carolina A&T State University, NC, USA. Recognized for her academic achievements, she received a prestigious scholarship (OPEC Fund for International Development), underscoring her potential to make a positive impact on the development-related domain. Her research interests include the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning for environmental monitoring and geospatial data-driven analysis.
