Brandon Call graduated from Brigham Young University with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and an emphasis on Robotics. He worked at MIT Lincoln Laboratory for 7 years in the Active Optical Systems Group, working predominantly on Geiger-mode Lidar systems. He then joined 3DEO, Inc. in 2014 with the focus of commercializing Geiger-mode lidar. Brandon loves being involved in everything at 3DEO, and finds that he gets really involved in lidar system design, electronics, computers, device control software, lidar scanning systems, GPS/INS, processing architecture, processing software, clusters and computing hardware. He holds one patent and has one pending for advancements in Geiger-mode Lidar. He is currently a Lidar Engineer and the Director of Software Engineering at 3DEO®. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, photography and outdoor adventures.
