Dr. Aaron Morris is an entrepreneur, roboticist, and evangelist of AI and geospatial data. Dr. Morris earned a doctorate in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University where he developed computer vision systems for self-driving vehicles. He founded his first company, Allpoint Systems, in 2008 to commercialize computer vision solutions for the architectural, engineering and survey industries. Allpoint was acquired by Autodesk in late 2012 where he then oversaw Autodesk’s Reality Solutions division. In 2017, Dr. Morris co-founded Allvision IO to create digital twins of street-level infrastructure for better planning and management of critical mobility assets. He now works at Woolpert supporting their AI and automation initiatives around airborne LiDAR.
