The Intersection of Geospatial + the Built World

Geo Week is proud to partner with ASPRS to hold its Annual Conference with Geo Week. This co-location provides networking and technical training for professionals working with photogrammetry, remote sensing, and GIS, while also providing exposure to the technology and professionals working in related fields.

What is ASPRS?

Founded in 1934 the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is a scientific association serving professional members around the world. Our mission is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences to promote the responsible applications of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS) and supporting technologies.

What is the ASPRS Annual Conference?

Each year professionals working with photogrammetry, remote sensing, and GIS gather at the ASPRS Annual Conference for technical workshops, education sessions, awards recognizing excellence, and ASPRS committee meetings. Members and non-members welcome!

In 2024, ASPRS and Geo Week are coming together more than ever to produce a single, comprehensive conference program. New this year, all conference attendees at the event will have access to both Geo Week and ASPRS sessions with a single conference pass.

Bringing ASPRS and ILMF together beginning in 2018 reunited the photogrammetry, remote sensing, and lidar professionals and vendors who enthusiastically welcomed the opportunity to attend one consolidated event; an event where they could roam one large exhibit hall and attend educational workshops to broaden their expertise into related disciplines. Bringing the built world into this mix through AEC Next and SPAR 3D acknowledges not only the richness and complexity of the technologies we have available for spatial analysis and decision making, it also give us all the opportunity to explore and invent new analysis methods that leverage the fusion of imagery, elevation, and bathymetry with 3D models of the built world. The merging of these disciplines IS the future. Co-locating our annual conferences and expositions facilitates us traveling into the future on a multi-lane superhighway.
