Anders Ekelund is Vice President Bathymetric LiDAR within Hexagon, overall responsible for Hexagon airborne bathymetric LiDAR solutions portfolio. For 19 years he has managed the bathymetric LiDAR systems, software, and applications developments of this portfolio, providing world market leading bathy LiDAR solutions globally.
Anders Ekelund has an education as Master of Science with focus on automatic control theories and significant experience within engineering, project management, business development, international research collaboration within aerospace technologies, before he took the management role for bathy LiDAR. He has over the years provided many presentations on international conferences airborne remote sensing technologies, have contributed to several patents and scientific papers within the bathy LiDAR field.
