With over 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry, he specializes in integrating advanced data capture with survey-grade extraction workflows to deliver high-accuracy solutions for infrastructure and engineering clients.
Russell is an active voice in the surveying community, regularly speaking at national conferences including GeoWeek, TUC, ASPRS, and Hexagon. He also co-hosts The Geoholics podcast, where he shares insights on leadership, technology, and the evolving role of the surveyor. In early 2025, he officially joined the ASPRS Florida Region Board of Directors, and he also serves as a mentor with the NSPS Young Surveyors Network—advocating for innovation, outreach, and the future of the geospatial profession.
