I am a PhD candidate in the Santos Seascape Ecology Lab at Florida International University. I am a Fulbright Student from Italy, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in marine biology and ecology with a focus on spatial prioritization of coastal resources and macroalgal restoration.
For my research at FIU, I apply remote sensing principles and a landscape ecology approach to understand the structural characteristics and dynamics of seagrass-dominated habitats, the impacts of water quality on seagrass stability, and the effects of seascape heterogeneity on commercially important fish species.
