Blaine Horner is a Vice President and Business Unit Leader of Geomatics at Merrick & Company. Blaine’s geospatial career began as a remote sensing field surveyor, a role which took him to 24 countries and the summit of Denali twice. From there, Blaine spent time as a Vice President of Data Services at a well-funded drone startup where he managed data processing and delivery for a wide range of geospatial projects. Blaine has been with Merrick & Company for six years. The Geomatics Business Unit which Blaine oversees includes Merrick’s aerial mapping program, survey discipline, GIS department and scan-to-BIM discipline. Blaine has an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver and coaches high school skiing at Winter Park.
