Bernhard Schachinger is Head of Applied Photogrammetry – Data and Workflow at Vexcel Imaging, focusing on enhancing the UltraMap software and optimizing photogrammetric processing chains. He joined Vexcel in 2008 and has contributed to the company’s success across multiple projects, ranging from developing workflows for aerial data quality analysis and mobile mapping processing to shaping UltraMap features such as its unique water handling. A graduate in Geoinformatics, he has deep expertise in imagery and LiDAR processing and continuously learns from customer projects worldwide. He is also instrumental in the Vexcel Data Program (VDP). He maintains close ties with partners and contributes to the geospatial industry and scientific community through applied research and collaboration.
