To recognize and celebrate excellence across the geospatial industry, Geo Week will host an awards ceremony to honor nominated leaders and distinguished professionals for their achievements. In partnership with LIDAR Magazine, Lidar News, and ASPRS, the Geo Week awards will be presented at the live Geo Week Conference in Denver, CO on February 7, 2022.
The 2022 Geo Week Awards honor the achievements of individuals and teams working in the geospatial technology space. The ceremony will include the Lidar Leader Awards, Younger Geospatial Professional Award, and the presentation of ASPRS Awards.
The Lidar Leader Awards recognize excellence in five distinct categories of achievement in geospatial lidar technology.

The Younger Geospatial Professional of the Year Award recognizes a geospatial professional under 35 years of age for their achievements in the 3D geospatial technology space.
Open for peer or self applications.
Eligible individuals must have made a significant impact on their organization or community involving technical excellence, professional development or innovation within the realm of geospatial lidar technology. *Please note: self-nominations will be removed.
Eligible teams (2-99 people) must have made a significant impact on their organization or community involving technical excellence, professional development or innovation within the realm of geospatial lidar technology. *Please note: self-nominations will be removed.
Eligible teams (100+ people) must have made a significant impact on their organization or community involving technical excellence, professional development or innovation within the realm of geospatial lidar technology. *Please note: self-nominations will be removed.
Eligible innovations can qualify from a company or an individual and can be technology, a product, or a business model in the realm of geospatial technologies. The technology, product or business model must be on the market for less than one year, or not yet on the market but demonstrably operational.
Eligible universities demonstrate exceptional achievement within the realm of lidar technology during five-minute presentations during a session taking place at Geo Week 2022. University students, professors, and teams are encouraged to present their latest university research during a friendly competition presented in front of a panel of experts and conference attendees.
Propose the problem and your solution clearly, concisely and quickly! Open to all universities, students and teams within the university. Presentations will be evaluated on:
Geospatial professionals who are 35 years old and younger are encouraged to submit a 2.0 to 2.5-minute video explaining the following:
*Reimbursement for round-trip air transportation limited to coach airfare up to $500
*Complimentary hotel accommodations provided for three nights at one of the official event hotels to be determined by event management.
