Nithish Manikkavasagam is a Master’s student and Research Associate at Florida Atlantic University. His research on geomatics approaches for coastal management is funded by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. He has published peer-reviewed papers and has presented at international conferences, including TRB, GeoWeek, and ASPRS, as well as regional events. Nithish serves as the Secretary of the FAU ASPRS Student Chapter and is a recipient of ASPRS and FSMS scholarships. He aims to leverage geospatial science and engineering for ecosystem monitoring and management.
