Xan Fredericks works with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as the National Map Liaison to Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands for the National Geospatial Program User Engagement Office. She collaborates with a variety of partners to aid the discovery and coordination of geospatial data, as well as the delivery of actionable, science-based information to resource managers, emergency responders, and the public. Xan is the Chair of the USGS Lidar User Group and Deputy Chair of the Geospatial Information Response Team. She serves as Co-Chair of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Bathymetry Working Group and is a GISCI-certified GIS Professional.
