Thomas Czerniawski is an applied machine learning scientist at Integrated Projects, where he is automating the scan-to-BIM process. He has a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, where he researched how to create and update digital models of existing buildings using deep learning.
With 10 years of experience in computer vision and artificial intelligence, Thomas has created innovative systems for industrial fabrication quality control, building information model updating, and construction progress monitoring. He has also received awards from the European Group for Intelligent Computing in Engineering and the American Society of Civil Engineers Data Sensing and Analysis research communities for his contributions to open research datasets.
