Dr. Shin-yi Hsu is Vice-President of Susquehanna Resources and Environment, Inc. which provides software solutions for automated extraction of foundation features from multispectral imagery, target detection from SAR imagery, and raster and vector GIS integration.
Dr. Hsu taught at Binghamton University for 43 years, from 1970 to 2013, including
Remote Sensing of the Environment, Photogrammetry, and Geography of East Asia.

Principal Investigator of 17 SBIR Phase I, 5 SBIR Phase II and 1 SBIR Phase III
Current research interests include automated rectification of geo-inaccuracy in multi-orbit commercial satellite imagery, reduction of multi-orbit imagery drift/offset to near zero whose applications include updating DOQQ, and multi-resolution image data and multi-sensor fusion.
