After discharge from the Army as a Geospatial Intel Analyst in 2013 Shawn found work in government contracting where he got his first experience with LiDAR and has been working in the industry for over a decade now. He has experience in federal USGS 3DEP work, dozens of electrical utilities, various local state, county, and city municipalities, a handful of DOT’s and countless land development, architectural, engineering and construction clients.
Shawn has experience with every major sensor manufactures hardware spanning terrestrial, slam, UAV, mobile, rotary and fixed wing sensors.
In his current role as Partnerships and Integration Manager at Allen and Company Shawn is responsible for building and maintaining teaming relationships with strategic partners to help facilitate scanning work, survey work, modeling, and analysis for clients with facilities nation wide as well as staying abreast of the latest and greatest tech in the industry and ensuring the technology it proliferated throughout the company as the company branches out more and more into digital twin offerings for their customers.
