Ray’s early fascination with the US Space program and the art of mapmaking led to the creation of Mandli Communications, a company known for its innovative solutions in the geospatial industry. Having worked with laser technology since the mid 1990s, Ray has been instrumental in developing advanced systems for transportation data collection, including using 3D texture maps of pavements and implementing mobile systems for measuring vertical clearance at highway speeds. Today, Mandli Communications collects, reduces, manages, and packages LiDAR and imagery data, covering over 125,000 miles of state and federal highways annually.
