Dr. Pope is an research and development scientist in the
Space & Remote Sensing Sciences group at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
He has over thirty years of experience in the theoretical underpinnings and practical applications of
remote sensing and geospatial analysis.
He is professionally certified through the American Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS)
as a remote sensing mapping scientist.
