My name is Jeffrey Blay, a first year Ph.D. student at the department of built environment, North Carolina A&T State University. My study focus seeks to identify efficient techniques for estimating flood water depth in settlement areas in near real time. I am member of the Remote Sensing and GIS lab, and I am an advisee of Dr. Leila Hashemi- Beni. I am chartering a career as a Geospatial Data Scientist and a Consultant after school. I am originally from Ghana. I love to play soccer and be close to nature.
