Dr. Hank Theiss is a Research Associate Professor at the Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies (CAST) at the University of Arkansas, and also works part-time for KBR. He has 27 years of experience supporting Geomatics research projects, where he works collaboratively with colleagues in the government, industry, and academia. Hank’s primary areas of research involve sensor modeling, such as application of the Generic Linear Array Scanner (GLAS) and Generic Frame-sequence Model (GFM) to publicly available image products such as the Keyhole (KH) family of spaceborne sensors; error modeling; data adjustment; and accuracy assessment of 3D GEOINT products.
