The geospatial industry has always sought a better understanding of the world around us. Through the development of technologies and techniques including lidar, GIS, bathymetry, photogrammetry, AI and beyond, geospatial knowledge is being applied across disciplines to help address many critical problems. As the impacts of climate change are already being felt across the globe, it is clear that one of humanity’s greatest challenges still lies ahead. In this keynote, technology thought leaders will share their inspiring visions of how geospatial technology is already being used to make a difference in addressing issues of sustainability, disaster response, public health and social justice, and discuss how the geospatial community can get involved.
