Geo Week 2024 was an exhilarating success, setting the tone for an incredible week ahead. With over 3,100 attendees participating in engaging sessions and exploring innovative exhibits at the Colorado Convention Center, the excitement about the present and future of the industry was palpable.
Day One began with Product Previews, showcasing the latest advancements from 18 companies, followed by an inspiring keynote discussing the bright future of AEC, 3D, and geospatial innovation. Attendees eagerly explored the exhibit hall and conference sessions, discovering cutting-edge technology and engaging in face-to-face discussions with industry leaders.
Throughout the day, informative sessions covered topics ranging from survey technologies to construction workflows and the evolving landscape of the “metaverse.” The day concluded with a celebratory “Welcome Tailgate,” fostering connections and camaraderie among attendees.
Day Two continued the momentum with a thought-provoking keynote highlighting the transformative impact of geospatial technology across various sectors. Awards were presented, and World Lidar Day was celebrated, underscoring the importance of lidar data.
Day Three featured a plenary filled with updates from the United States Geological Survey, more insightful case studies, and discussions on the future of geospatial data. As Geo Week 2024 drew to a close, attendees departed with newfound knowledge, inspiration, and a shared sense of anticipation for the industry’s continued growth.
