Paul has been involved in the engineering and reality caputure fields for 27 years. He is currently a Senior Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor with Barr Engineering Co. where he serves in the role as Reality Capture Practice Group Coordinator. He has been with Barr’s Hibbing, Minnesota office since 2012.
Paul holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying and a Masters of Engineering degree, all from Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan.
Work experience includes engineering and reality capture for projects across many sectors including municipalities, natural resource organizations, mining, and energy.
Paul is a licensed civil engineer in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota, Nevada, and Oklahoma and a licensed land surveyor in Minnesota.
For the past two years, Paul has been an instructor for Lake Superior College (Duluth, MN) for their civil engineering technician program.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys time with his family, playing in the outdoors, and working with youth in Scouting America.
