The modernization of the National Spatial Reference System represents the most significant transformation in geospatial positioning in decades. As this new system comes online, the ability to access, interpret, and integrate it into real-world workflows will be critical for organizations across the geospatial ecosystem.
Over the past several years, the National Geodetic Survey has worked closely with private-sector partners to ensure that commercial geospatial tools and platforms are prepared to support the transition. This session will feature industry leaders highlighting how their organizations are enabling users to adopt the modernized NSRS—translating complex geodetic changes into practical, operational solutions that minimize disruption and maximize value for end users.
Session will be opened with an introduction from Rachael Dempsey, National Ocean Service Deputy Assistant Administrator for Navigation, Observations, and Positioning.
