Vexcel Imaging’s UltraCam Osprey 4.1 is a highly versatile large-format aerial camera that simultaneously collects photogrammetric-grade nadir and oblique imagery to offer a single system that serves applications ranging from traditional photogrammetry projects to 3D city mapping.
The system combines new and industry-leading customized lenses, next generation CMOS imaging sensors with custom electronics, and a best-in-class image processing pipeline to deliver imagery of unprecedented quality, in terms of detail resolution, clarity and dynamic range. With the UltraCam Osprey 4.1, Vexcel introduced a new proprietary approach, the Adaptive Motion Compensation (AMC), to addressing motion blur by compensating for camera movement in all directions.
