Kanwar is the CEO of Skyline Nav AI. He has led the development of Pathfinder, a GPS-independent solution involving camera and IMU. He is passionate about reducing our society’s dependence on GPS, which is vulnerable to jamming, spoofing and denial. As a first generation American, he also serves as a Captain in the US Army (Signal Corps).
Kanwar is the author of Recalculating: Life When GPS Goes Dark, a book that highlights our society’s ever-increasing dependence on GPS and how it has become a single point of failure. He is also a drone pilot.
He is the lead inventor of an issued patent, and has several patents pending. With a lifelong dedication to serving others, Kanwar believes that success comes from building strong trust, engaging in decision-making with diverse perspectives, and a commitment to solving complex societal challenges.
