GAZALI AGBOOLA received the bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in geospatial and data science at North Carolina A&T State University. He is currently a Research Assistant. He is also involved in an NCDOT-funded project focused on predicting, mapping, and detecting landslides through machine learning, statistical methods, and geospatial data. He is committed to applying machine learning and data analysis to disaster management. He has received the Academic Excellence Scholarship Award from NC ArcGIS Users and was also a recipient of the HP Future of Work Academy award and Graduate Excellence Scholarship Award.
