I’ve had the luck to ride the wave of exponential disruptions such as smartphones while evangelizing Latin America with BlackBerry in 2007 and drones with Droidika during 2014.
I currently run CartoData. I am the 4th generation CEO of a mapping family business devoted to solving complex issues through geospatial technologies ranging from aerial acquisition and processing to web geospatial democratization platforms.
Among our latest projects, we mapped the country of El Salvador (www.elsalvadormaps.com) and served over 28 municipalities through our geospatial software portfolio.
As a side hustle, I invest and coach startups in their seeding stage providing technological and business strategy guidance through Future World Ventures. I am an avid learner and hold a degree in Computer Science from the ITESM and a Master in Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo.
