Eric Albanese is a Principal Land Surveyor with 17 years of experience who works for Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Eric’s main focus is leading PG&E’s geodetic and real-time networks that support critical functions within the company for surveying, mapping, as-builting, engineering, asset management, and geosciences. Additionally, Eric leads the remote sensing team inside of PG&E, whose main focus is on aerial lidar collections, photogrammetric missions, structure from motion (SfM), lidar analysis, and derivative product generation. Eric is currently the National Director of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) for the Pacific Southwest Region and is a Certified Mapping Scientist in Lidar.
