I am Anurag Sharma, a PhD candidate in Earth Systems Science at Florida International University (FIU). My research focuses on understanding the processes driving Vertical Land Motion (VLM) (i.e. subsidence and uplift) along the U.S. East Coast and their impact on coastal resilience in the face of Relative Sea Level Rise (RSLR). I use advanced geospatial technologies such as Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), and precise leveling to measure spatial and temporal patterns in VLM.
