Aaron is a lifelong resident of Utah except for about two years spent in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He and his wife are raising three wonderful boys who enrich and enliven their lives. He graduated from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah in 2006 with a degree in Business Administration. He worked as a GIS Analyst from 2006 to 2018 for the Division of Water Resources and is currently the GIS Manager. He led the Water-Related Land Use Data Program and works on the team tasked with developing a Statewide Water Budget. He assists with contracting on the Great Salt Lake Basin Integrated Plan and administers the Google Cloud Platform and Google Earth Engine subscriptions and projects related to natural resources and climate resilience for the state. He also assists with hiring and onboarding and generally helps in any way he can to make Water Resources a great place to work.
