Reality Capture 101 is a five-module course that introduces the world of reality capture: using cameras, scanners, and drones to turn real places and objects into accurate digital 3D data. Starting from the very basics, you’ll explore what reality capture is and why it matters, the different tools and technologies used to capture the world, how a typical project comes together from planning to final result, what makes the data trustworthy, and the many ways it’s put to work across design, construction, and operations. Whether you’re simply curious, exploring it for your work, or looking to enhance gaps in your process, everyone is welcome, no experience or background required.
