John M. Russo, Architect, is the founder of Architectural Resource Consultants (ARC), a renowned firm specializing in professional building documentation services for the architectural, engineering, construction, and owner/operator communities since its establishment in 1997. With an extensive professional career dating back to 1984, Mr. Russo has transformed his passion for as-built documentation of buildings and facility life cycle solutions into a thriving, award-winning business.
In 2011, Mr. Russo took a significant step by establishing the U.S. Institute of Building Documentation (USIBD), a non-profit membership organization dedicated to advancing excellence in building documentation. His exceptional contributions to the industry earned him the prestigious SPAR Star Award in 2012. Presently, Mr. Russo holds influential positions as a member of the Board of Directors and serves as the President of USIBD.
Recognized as a prominent figure in the industry, Mr. Russo has been invited to deliver keynote addresses and serve as a featured speaker at numerous industry shows and conferences. His expertise has also been showcased through his contributions as an author for renowned publications such as LiDAR News and GeoDataPoint. Furthermore, Mr. Russo’s achievements have been highlighted in articles featured in ENR, POB Magazine, and LiDAR Magazine.
Educationally, Mr. Russo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, as well as an Associate of Arts degree in Architecture from Orange Coast College. He is a registered architect in the state of California, holding License no. C-24884.
