David Epps is Chief Technology Officer at Envision Construction, a Southeast-focused builder and developer delivering multifamily, hospitality, industrial, self-storage, and commercial projects. He leads Envision’s predevelopment technology platform and in-house reality capture program, integrating LiDAR, terrestrial laser scanning, photogrammetry, UAV mapping, and 3D point cloud workflows into design coordination, preconstruction, and field execution.
With more than 25 years in the AEC industry, David has helped drive technology adoption across more than 400 projects representing over $20 billion in construction value. His work spans BIM, VDC, artificial intelligence and automation, 3D coordination, 4D scheduling, construction simulation, AR/VR/XR, and digital project delivery.
David previously served as President of the Atlanta Revit Users Group and has been active with the BIMForum Leadership Group and Autodesk Global Construction Customer Council. He is a contributing author to AGC’s BIM 101 and Contractor’s Guide to BIM, and has presented at Geo Week, Autodesk University, R-CON, SPAR, CONEXPO-CON/AGG, Hexagon, BIMForum, and ENR FutureTech.
