At Geo Week 2026, I argued that accuracy is not optional and that vendor claims deserve scrutiny. This year, I’m bringing the data.
Drawing on multi-sensor projects that combine terrestrial, mobile, and drone Lidar, drone photogrammetry, and SLAM, this session walks through the overlap zones where sensors should agree and what the data reveals. We’ll examine real workflows, best practices for sensor selection, and truthing methodologies to determine if the results meet project requirements.
The receipts show what spec sheets won’t: multi-sensor accuracy is a judgment call, and testing your results is not optional.
