Zhuba Goldenlamb

Zhuba Goldenlamb is an environmental scientist and GIS specialist currently completing his M.S. in GIS at CSU Long Beach, with a background that combines field operations and geospatial analysis. After working for four years at Joshua Tree National Park as a Restoration Biologist, he developed a strong interest in remote sensing, environmental monitoring, and the use of GIS to identify spatial patterns across landscapes.

His work integrates satellite imagery, LiDAR, and field validation to support projects involving wildfire analysis, invasive species detection, restoration monitoring, and GIS visualization. Zhuba has presented spatial analysis workflows at professional GIS conferences, and his current research explores the use of NDVI and LiDAR-derived canopy height models to detect forest stress associated with Goldspotted Oak Borer infestation in Southern California oak woodlands.
