Aaron Brown started his GIS career at Universtiy of Utah where he worked on fire mapping for the Utah Department of Natural Resources: Division of Forestry, Fire, and Stateland. After graduating he started and is now working as a Senior GIS Analyst for the Utah Deparment of Natural Resources: Division of Oil, Gas, and Mining going on 4 years. Here Aaron performs UAS flights to measure disturbance areas for surface mines, measure Volumetrics. and monitors Coal Seam Fires. He also works on and creates data collection processes and integrates the UAS flights with mobile mapping.
