Grounded in the Future: Teaching Geomatics, 3D Scanning, and Digital Twins to the Next Generation

Using real-world examples from outreach programs like the Pueblo of Zuni Survey Camp, this presentation showcases how field exercises, cell phone LiDAR systems, drone photogrammetry, and virtual models can captivate students and build foundational skills in mapping, measurement, and spatial thinking.
