December 1, 2020 | 1:00 PM ETRegulatory changes allowing for the commercial operation of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the national air space are driving a rapid increase in the use of such platforms for survey and mapping applications. The increasing availability of off-the-shelf UAV platforms at prices that are affordable for survey firms allows for the profitable deployment of UAVs on small projects or at an increased frequency than would be achievable or cost-effective using traditional manned platforms. This discussion will highlight what sort of considerations that users and organizations need to consider when making these decisions.
December 15, 2020 | 1:00 PM ET2020 has been a year like any other. Continuous changes to processes, tools and technology have transformed tasks that might have taken months or years to now be possible over weeks or even days. How will some of these technologies and changes define the future of the AEC and geospatial industries? Is the “normal” that some have talked about getting back to even worth restoring? What innovations and evolutions of the technology and sector are the experts on the lookout for in 2021? Join our panel of visionaries to explore all of these topics along with a look at the future of built world and geospatial technology plus live audience Q&A.
