What are the USIBD’s activities at Geo Week 2024?

As the USIBD continues to strive for equal comparison data in the reality capture industry, it will be hosting an event to compare terrestrial and SLAM based scanners at Geo Week 2024.

The first floor of the convention center is the subject for a mock LOD200 project that will be evaluated in Revit. USIBD will document the scans, the workflow, and cost of ownership for each unit for a full 1 to 1 comparison of products on the market.

Results will be presented on Tuesday, February 13 from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM in the Exhibit Hall Theater.

“The USIBD is excited to participate in Geo Week. In 2024, we will welcome the leading scanner manufacturers to participate in our first-ever LIVE event to compare normalized data from an assortment of mobile scanners using various developers’ solutions. You be the judge of which solutions are best for your projects.”
