Bio: Ryan LaValle M.S. is the LiDAR & Remote Sensing Project Coordinator with DRG. Ryan is a Forester by training and holds an ISA Certified Arborist and FAA Cert. Drone/Remote Pilot. Ryan has over 15 years of professional experience in forestry and geospatial solutions and is Certified in GIS Mapping with Unmanned Aerial Systems. Ryan also specializes in utility LiDAR using remote sensing solutions to provide Davey’s UVM clients accurate data for their decision making and management needs. Since 2018 Ryan has been focusing on environmental consulting and natural resource management applications. He holds a Master of Science degree in Forest Resource Management from the University of Florida with a concentration in Drone Technology & GIS Applications in Vegetation and Forest Resource Management. Ryan is also involved in the research and development of new technologies using LiDAR for precision forestry and utility vegetation management stakeholders and clients.
