Philip Dember is Survey Department Manager for Arora and Associates, P.C., where he focuses on applying the most advanced survey technology and methods to efficiently complete projects. During his time at Arora, he led the adoption of laser scanning technology within the firm, including the implementation of scan data in the company’s workflows and the development of field procedures for learning and using the instruments. After taking over the survey department, he continued the firm’s lidar implementation with the addition of the Leica Pegasus TRK 500 Neo mobile mapping system. Although Philip manages a variety of projects, he especially enjoys working on transportation infrastructure engineering projects. “Since we work on major highways, like the turnpike, bridges, and international airports like JFK and Newark, I find it very rewarding knowing that my work will help millions of people in our region and from around the world get to where they want to go,” he says.
