As the Chief of NOAA’s National Geodetic Survey’s Remote Sensing Division, Mike has been with NOAA more than 30 years and has served in a variety of operational, technical, and policy positions ranging from performing field surveys supporting Nautical and Aeronautical Charting to serving as the Chief of Staff for NOAA’s Ocean Service. Mike’s education includes a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
